FECICAM (The Cinema Festival of Castilla La Mancha)
FECICAM is held as a film festival of the region. It is oriented towards new filmmakers, supports independent films, fosters alternative author’s films, and contributes to development of cinematography. Among its fundamental objectives is disseminating and promoting film makers in Castilla-La Mancha. FECICAM tries to promote emerging artists and Debut Films (it opens up to and including the director’s third work).
The Old Casino and QuijanoTheatre in Ciudad Real are usually the chosen venues for the event.
The festival awards various categories of films and honourable mentions.
