Wall

In 1255, King Alfonso X ordered Villa Real to be founded, defining its urban boundaries and ordering the construction of an oval-shaped wall, which was basically made of rammed earth, with the exception of its 130. This wall initially contained seven gates, although it eventually came to have eight (Toledo, Calatrava, La Mata, Granada, Ciruela, Alarcos, Santa María and Carmen).
