Historical Week

From Alarcos to Villa Real. Ciudad Real Historical Week is an event that aims to highlight and raise awareness of the historical origins of our city, coinciding with the date on which the Battle of Alarcos took place, 19 July 1195.

Among its most outstanding activities are the Alarcos Ancient Music Festival and the gastronomic days of “Alfonsí Cuisine”, although there are numerous other activities for children and adults. An event, that places Ciudad Real on the calendar of cultural events in July.
