Former Casino
Inaugurated in 1887 and located right on the Paseo del Prado, this emblematic building built by Sebastián Rebollar y Muño was characterised by the use of a new material: iron. It was the place where the local elite got together, and it originally contained a variety of rooms, including a dancing room, social room, library, restaurant, coat check, games room and more. Many of these rooms were transformed at a later date. Its interior decor is particularly remarkable, with mouldings, “art-deco” lamps, lamp posts and wall lamps as well as iron radiators covered in decorative plant elements.
It is currently a centre that hosts talks, concerts, exhibitions and all sorts of cultural activities.
Free admission.
Opening times: 09:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 20:00 (Monday to Friday).
